Two boards, one storm. Winter over the Gammon Ranges, the sky gone the colour of slate, clouds pushed across it in thick white paint, the range a black cut-out along the middle, and the slopes below in purple-brown with grass going yellow-green at the front and flowers as flecks of orange, pink and white pastel. On wood, split and weathered, and the paint sits over the grain rather than hiding it: the knots show through the hills in the second board like moons, the cracks run through the sky like rain. The second board is painted on the back as well, an earlier pass at the same sky. Wire fitted to both. Sold as the pair.
Size: Two boards, each 29.5 × 42 cm.

Finishing: Each signed, dated and numbered 1/2 and 2/2 on the back. One of one.
